• Implementation of technical requirements and fine specifications for embedded systems using existing hardware and microcontroller architectures optimally
• Development, integration, and testing of software solutions for embedded controllers and electronic subsystems
• Definition, programming, commissioning, and testing of Board Support Packages for electronic control units
• Creation of technical specifications, software architectures, and verification documentation
• Conducting software reviews as well as evaluating requirements, architectures, and software designs
• Coordination and alignment of work packages with internal and external project participants
• Analysis of complex problems as well as development of sustainable technical solutions for product development

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable degree is necessary
• Relevant professional experience in embedded software development and the independent implementation of technical requirements is a must-have
• Sound knowledge in low-level C programming as well as in microcontroller development, as well as experience with multi-core architectures is required
• Knowledge of model-based software development methods and corresponding tools is necessary
• Experience in the definition and design of software and system architectures is desirable
• Knowledge in the development of safety-critical systems, ideally according to DO-178, is an advantage
• Business fluent English skills are necessary
