Your tasks

• Management of digitalization and transformation projects in Procurement, Logistics, and Digital Operations, from initiation through implementation to value realization
• Support in the introduction and continuous development of the Digital Operations Operating Model, including governance, demand management, and value tracking
• Central interface between specialist departments, Digital Operations, IT teams, and external implementation partners
• Translation of business requirements into structured project plans, prioritized use cases, and actionable roadmaps
• Control of project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies
• Responsibility for demand intake, creation of business cases, and prioritization of digital initiatives
• Coordination of cross-functional project teams and promotion of collaboration between Procurement, Logistics, and Digital Operations
• Establishment of project governance structures as well as transparent reporting to management and stakeholders
• Accompanying procurement and logistics teams during the transition from local silo solutions to standardized, scalable, and globally aligned digital products
• Ensuring the alignment of local initiatives with global standards, digital products, and enterprise architecture principles
• Promoting the acceptance of digital solutions through change management and stakeholder engagement
• Definition and monitoring of KPIs to measure project success, usage, and business value
• Collaboration on the harmonization of processes, tools, and data models across all EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) functions

Requirements

Are you a Digital Project Manager (m/f/d), Digitalization Project Manager (m/f/d), or do you possess a comparable qualification and want to apply your expertise in the digital transformation of Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management in Erlangen? You expect diverse tasks in international EPC projects as well as the opportunity to actively shape digital solutions from the idea to a successful rollout.

• Completed studies in engineering, Supply Chain Management, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience (ideally 5 years) in digital project management, business transformation, or process improvement initiatives
• Proven experience in leading digitalization projects from concept to rollout
• Experience in Procurement, project logistics, Supply Chain Management, or in the EPC or turnkey project business
• Sound knowledge of project management methods including scope, schedule, risk, stakeholder, and change management
• Experience with digitalization initiatives involving SAP (e.g., SAP Analysis for Office), data analysis, process and workflow automation, or enterprise platforms
• Experience with digital operating models or product-oriented organizations is desirable
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
• Business fluent English skills, German skills are an advantage
