  • Maintenance and training of SOPs for export control
  • Preparation of documentation for license applications and coordination of the information flow between internal and external partners
  • Electronic application for licenses and maintenance of permits in SAP GTS
  • Reporting as well as obtaining evidence of exported quantities in accordance with license conditions
  • Answering internal and external inquiries regarding license requirements and permit obligations
  • Processing of customs-specific issues in the event of incomplete export declarations, including cancellation and subsequent processing
  • Monitoring of exit notes and obtaining missing confirmations
  • Processing of inquiry messages from customs and communication with the Statistisches Bundesamt
  • Contact person for interfaces on customs and export control relevant topics
  • Coordination of necessary measures within the framework of emergency procedures

Your Qualifications

  • Completed university degree (Bachelor), ideally with a focus on foreign trade or customs law; alternatively freight forwarding specialists with many years of relevant experience
  • Many years of professional experience in the field of export control
  • Sound knowledge of foreign trade law and export control law
  • Extensive SAP-GTS knowledge
  • Very good English skills in spoken and written form (meetings, telephone calls, emails)
