• Construction, development, and further development of QSP platform models for various oncological mechanisms of action
• Development and optimization of virtual patient cohorts to map clinical heterogeneity and support study designs
• Application and further development of mathematical modeling approaches (differential equation models, statistical models, population models)
• Integration of modern methods such as AI/ML to support literature evaluation, model construction, and optimization of virtual populations
• Derivation of practice-relevant results to support dose finding, combination strategies, duration of therapy, and clinical study design
• Close cooperation in an interdisciplinary team under the technical leadership of a Senior Pharmacometrician in the PMx Oncology environment
• Translation of biological and medical questions into quantitative, mathematically describable models
• Active participation in shaping the scientific and methodological structure of the new group

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies (Master or Doctorate/PhD) in Mathematics, Biomathematics, Biostatistics, Engineering, Pharmacology, or comparable disciplines
• Very good knowledge in the development and application of models based on differential equations
• Experience in statistical modeling as well as in dealing with complex, data-driven biological systems
• Very good programming skills in at least one of the following languages: R, Python, or MATLAB
• Experience in drug development or in a pharmaceutical/biomedical research environment is an advantage
• Demonstrable scientific experience and/or publications in the relevant field
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
• Very good English skills are mandatory, German skills are an advantage
