• Development of modern frontend components within the Application Software department
• Collaboration in an interdisciplinary team on control software for complex communication systems
• Conception, implementation, and further development of graphical user interfaces for Windows and Linux environments
• Implementation of user-friendly UI components using C++ and ideally Qt/QML
• Connection of graphical user interfaces to existing backend systems and interfaces
• Creation and maintenance of unit tests to ensure software quality
• Support of the entire software development process from requirements analysis to integration
• Creation of test specifications, test instructions, and test protocols
• Documentation of technical solutions, software functions, and product components
• Collaboration with development, testing, system engineering, and other specialist departments
• Application of classical and agile development methods in the project environment
• Participation in the continuous improvement of development processes, quality assurance, and CI/CD workflows

Your Qualifications

Completed studies in computer science, communications engineering, physics, or a comparable technical field Practical experience in the development and implementation of software components with C++ Proficient handling of object-oriented software development Experience in the development of graphical user interfaces, ideally with Qt and QML Knowledge in the area of unit testing and software quality assurance Understanding of the connection of frontend components to backend systems Basic knowledge or practical experience with CI/CD processes Ideally experience with Git, GitLab, or comparable version control and development platforms Ability to work in a structured manner in both classical and agile development models Strong teamwork skills and enjoyment of collaborative software development Strong communication skills, initiative, and technical interest Analytical, careful, and solution-oriented way of working Openness to complex technical systems and safety-critical application environments Good written and spoken English skills Curiosity, willingness to learn, and readiness for continuous professional development
