Design Engineer (m/f/d) - Mechatronics / Series Support (Designer (University Degree))

• Development of technical concepts for construction machinery
• Creation of technical circuit diagrams as well as functional and system descriptions
• 3D-CAD modeling in PTC/Creo incl. installation studies and drawing derivations
• Creation and maintenance of bills of materials
• Coordination with internal departments and suppliers (requirement/specification documents, technical specifications)
• Verification of new or modified functions together with the testing department as well as directly on the machine
• Error analysis on series machines and derivation of suitable measures
• Implementation of risk analyses according to relevant standards (e.g., ISO 13849)
• Cost estimates and comparative evaluations for components and assemblies
• Support of prototype construction, creation of sample construction orders as well as testing orders
• Support during testing, processing of change requests and optimization of designs
• Creation of simple time and process plans as well as coordination of project activities with suppliers

Your Qualifications

• Completed technical studies in the field of Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering - alternatively a comparable technical qualification
• Experience in the field of construction machinery or mobile working machines desirable
• Good knowledge in CAD PTC/Creo
• Sound knowledge in Mechatronics as well as relevant technical standards
• Confident handling of MS-Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
