Your Tasks

You are passionate about demanding plant projects in the energy sector and want to take on responsibility - For our client, an established company in the field of energy plants, we are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer for technical valves. In this key role, you will actively help shape national and international power plant projects and work closely with customers, plant builders, and our client's specialist departments.

• Independent management and processing of complex plant projects in sales - you take over project control from A to Z and ensure a successful conclusion.
• Technical design and project planning of steam control valves, superheated steam coolers, and steam conditioning systems - you apply your technical know-how to develop demanding valve solutions.
• Design of control valves based on plant and process data - you analyze process conditions and derive optimal concepts for execution.
• Development of customer-specific special solutions - using our client's modular product kit, you develop tailor-made application solutions.
• Technical clarification with customers, plant builders, and internal specialist departments - you are a competent contact person and coordinate requirements clearly and structurally.
• Coordination of resources, technical requirements, and project deadlines - you keep an eye on schedules, capacities, and priorities.
• Preparation and technical support of offers as well as negotiation of technical and commercial conditions - you combine technical understanding with sales strength.
• Close cooperation with field service, international representatives, and partners - you support our client's worldwide market presence and build long-term relationships.
• Identification of market opportunities and consistent offer and project follow-up - you identify potentials and actively contribute to the company's growth.
• Support in the optimization of internal processes - you contribute your ideas and participate in the further development of the organization.

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in the design, project planning, or application of control valves.
• Sound knowledge in handling plant and process data as well as a secure understanding of complex technical contexts.
• Experience in the technical processing of complex customer and plant projects.
• Enjoyment of technically demanding, individual, and application-related solutions - you enjoy making things better and forging new paths.
• Very good English skills, at least at level C1, to be able to appear confidently internationally.
• Proficient use of MS Office.
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working - you maintain an overview even with complex topics.
• Strong communication skills and a confident appearance towards national and international customers.
