• Technical preparation and support of the validation trains according to corresponding specifications.
• Ensuring the correct mechanical and electrical configuration of the trains in accordance with the requirements of the test laboratory or the engineering organization (e.g., Train Performance Manager or Train System Engineer).
• Ensuring that the specified software configuration is properly installed on the trains.
• Support in validation planning, including the coordination of the trains' deployment locations.
• Technical support of the validation trains during test runs and other activities.
• Technical support of the validation trains during tests and activities outside the site.
• Support of other departments such as Train System, Train Design, or Train Control, e.g., during the commissioning of the trains, the preparation of external power supplies, or the implementation of configuration changes.
• Cooperation with external test laboratories as well as technical support during their activities, such as during the commissioning or configuration adjustment of the trains.

Your Qualifications

• Good to very good English skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness to work flexibly at various deployment locations (domestic and abroad)
• Willingness to adapt to project- or infrastructure-related requirements regarding shift work (early, late, night shifts)
• Willingness to work weekends if required
• Willingness to work both practically on the vehicle and organizationally in the office
• Willingness to be 100% present at the deployment site (no or only very limited possibility for mobile working)
• More than 3 years of experience in the field of train testing, commissioning, warranty, or manufacturing desirable
• General experience with rail vehicles
• Electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical understanding
• Strong organizational and coordinative skills
