Magento 2 Developer - 6 Month Contract

6 Months | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote

We are working with an established e-commerce business looking to bring in an experienced Magento 2 Developer for an initial six-month contract.

The business has a significant pipeline of strategic technology projects underway, creating additional pressure across the existing development team. They are looking for an experienced contractor to provide additional capacity, specifically taking ownership of the API and integration work sitting across a number of these projects.

The role will be heavily focused on integrating the organisation's Magento 2 e-commerce environment with its ERP and wider business systems.

The role

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and supporting integrations within a Magento 2 environment
• Building and maintaining APIs between e-commerce, ERP and other business systems
• Taking ownership of integration work across a number of strategic technology projects
• Troubleshooting and improving existing integrations and data flows
• Working with middleware and integration platforms
• Collaborating with internal development, technology and project teams
• Supporting the successful delivery of a busy pipeline of e-commerce and technology change

What we're looking for

• Strong commercial Magento 2 development experience
• Strong experience developing and working with APIs
• Previous experience integrating e-commerce platforms with ERP or other back-office systems
• Good understanding of e-commerce platforms, architecture and associated data flows
• Experience working with middleware or integration platforms
• BPA Platform experience would be beneficial but isn't essential
• Comfortable working across multiple projects in a busy delivery environment
