Senior System Architect (m/f/d) High-Voltage Inverter in Remote (1707) (Engineer - Automotive Engineering)

With BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING, you will develop overarching system architectures for high-voltage inverters and electrified drives. You will define technical concepts, manage implementation across multiple development areas, and handle technical coordination with international customers.
How you contribute to our mutual success
- System Architecture: You are responsible for the development and implementation of system architectures for high-voltage inverters and electric drive systems throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Concept Development: You develop robust system concepts and requirements, taking into account quality, performance, costs, deadlines, and customer expectations.
- Architecture Management: You coordinate System Engineering, Hardware, Software, Calibration, Functional Safety, and Test to ensure a consistent overall system.
- Customer Coordination: You lead technical discussions and act as the central point of contact for architecture and system questions.
- Error Analysis: You evaluate complex technical deviations, perform root-cause analyses, and define effective solutions at the system level.
- Functional Safety: You drive technical safety concepts, SFMEA, and FTA in accordance with ISO 26262.
- Technical Leadership: You provide technical support to project teams, evaluate risks, and report on status as well as appropriate countermeasures.
What you bring to the role
- Qualification: Completed Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
- Experience: At least ten years of professional experience in automotive system development for high-voltage inverters, power electronics, or electrified drives
- System Architecture: Sound experience in the development of technical architectures, system concepts, and integration solutions
- Drive Technology: In-depth knowledge of inverter functions, motor control strategies, and electric drive systems
- Problem Solving: Strong skills in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical decision-making
- Safety: Knowledge of functional safety according to ISO 26262 as well as the requirements for high-voltage systems
- Tools: Experience with Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, and MATLAB/Simulink is an advantage
- Communication: Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage, as well as willingness to travel to Luxembourg by up to 25%
