How you contribute to our mutual success
- Measurements and instrumentation: Setup and calibration of laboratory instruments for various measurements in microfluidic and electrochemical test systems, as well as monitoring ongoing experiments.
- Sample management and coordination: Preparation, labeling, and organization of samples for internal references and for shipment to external analytical service providers.
- Solution and reagent preparation: Preparation of various solutions and reagents for ongoing experiments according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as detailed recording in laboratory journals and electronic databases.
- Documentation: Careful maintenance and updating of all laboratory documentation, including SOPs, maintenance logs, sample tracking records, and experimental notes.
- Equipment maintenance and management: Performance and careful documentation of routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment according to established schedules.
- Material management: Monitoring and inventorying of laboratory consumables, materials, and reagents, as well as triggering orders if necessary.
- Team collaboration and workflow coordination: Close cooperation with scientists and researchers from various disciplines to understand experimental needs and coordinate daily laboratory activities.
What you bring to the role
- Qualification: Completed scientific or technical vocational training, e.g., as a Chemielaborant:in, BTA, or CTA.
- Practical experience: Ideally several years of professional experience in a laboratory environment as well as in the application of analytical methods for end-customer diagnostic systems.
- Working style: Structured, independent, and careful way of working in a regulated GxP environment.
- Team orientation: Organizational talent, reliability, and enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team.
- IT and language skills: Proficient use of MS Office (especially Word and Excel) as well as good English skills.
