With BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING, you will develop novel biosensors for near-patient analysis systems. In doing so, you will combine scientific methods with practical development work and accompany series of experiments from conception to evaluation and presentation of the results.
How you contribute to our mutual success
- Biosensors: You develop novel biosensors with regard to their structure and function for Near-Patient-Care systems.
- Sensor layouts: You develop suitable sensor layouts using modern manufacturing processes and electrochemical characterization methods.
- Test concepts: You create concepts for testing the biosensors and plan the associated series of experiments.
- Execution of tests: You supervise the experimental investigations and ensure structured execution.
- Data analysis: You evaluate the measurement data obtained and prepare the results in a comprehensible manner.
- Presentation: You document and present the test results within the project team.
What you bring with you
- Qualification: You have a completed Master's or Diploma degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Microsystem Technology, or a comparable field of study. A doctorate is an advantage.
- Biosensor technology: You bring knowledge and practical experience in the manufacture or characterization of biosensors.
- Electrochemistry: You have experience with electrochemical processes and measurement methods.
- Data analysis: You possess statistical knowledge and experience in the evaluation and preparation of measurement data, for example with JMP or MATLAB.
- Working style: You work independently, goal-oriented, and with a high level of commitment, and you are enthusiastic about interdisciplinary questions.
- Communication: You convince through teamwork, strong communication skills, and very good English skills in speaking and writing.
