heavy equipment operator

BRT Construction is looking to bring on experienced, hard working and committed Excavator and Backhoe Operators. We are a *Shallow Utility Company *with services focusing on the telecommunications and power sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work independently.
• Be able to read and understand locates and drawings.
• Understand and follow grades
• Move fill and sand.
• Excavate trenches etc. for shallow utility installation.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Daily maintenance of equipment such as greasing and fueling.
• Assist with equipment servicing.
• Check and shoot grades.
• Haul and load equipment.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written
• Detail oriented and hardworking.
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, and reliable
• Organized and possessed excellent time management skills.
• Ambitious, motivated, solid work ethics.
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour
