Key Account Manager

As an important member of a high-performance team, you will report to the Aircraft Business Manager. Our KAM takes responsibility for the revenue and market presence of Rotax. The selected candidate is responsible for all region-specific tasks, including the active management of the entire assigned network as well as the corresponding customers, lobby groups, and regulatory authorities.

Your new adventure

Fully independent management of all distributors and their respective networks in the assigned areas and countries:

• Derivation of the local market strategy based on the global strategy of the Aircraft Business.
• Definition, support, and control of the annual individual goals for each distributor, including full annual evaluation.
• Handling of all relevant dealer contract matters (commercial, legal, and corresponding audits).

Fully independent management of all OEMs/end customers, aviation authorities, and lobby groups in the assigned areas and countries:

• Management of all ongoing engine integration programs with all OEMs in the assigned area (all commercial and organizational aspects).
• Increasing Rotax's understanding of the global piston engine market:

Independent definition of necessary and relevant market studies. Identification, summarization, and analysis of existing statistics. ** Derivation of measures and market entry strategies for future market share growth.

Independent lead organization of major events and trade fairs:

• Creation of the overall concept and annual updates.
• Responsibility for the entire event budget.
• Management of the local execution of events.

Your experience and skills

• Bachelor's degree in a technical/mechanical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, managing relationships with distributors at an international level in a manufacturing company.
• Accustomed to working with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; organizational strength, empathy, and service orientation.
• Fluent English skills in speaking and writing.
