• Development and implementation of global strategies for the "Castings" commodity group
• Analysis of international procurement markets as well as active identification and development of new supply sources
• Building and managing a high-performance global supplier portfolio
• Independent conduct of price and contract negotiations
• Execution of cost & benchmark analyses as well as development of risk management procedures
• Close cooperation with Supplier Management and Project Procurement

Your experience and skills

• Completed training or studies in a technical or economic field (e.g., Maschinenbau, Metallurgie, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, BWL)
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement in an international industrial environment (Automotive is an advantage)
• Experience in the procurement of technical components (e.g., metal, casting, or engine parts)
• Demonstrable expertise in global sourcing as well as in the establishment and development of international suppliers
• Strong negotiation skills, communication skills, and a proactive way of working
• High technical understanding as well as affinity for complex products
• Very good English skills

We offer You will receive an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities. According to the collective agreement for the metal industry, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 60,962.30 gross/year. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
