As the central contact person for your product group, you are responsible for strategic procurement and the further development of the supplier portfolio. You develop and implement product group strategies, shape long-term partnerships with suppliers, and make a significant contribution to our company's competitiveness, cost efficiency, and innovative strength. 1 Category Leader (f/m/d) Your Tasks

• Achieving annual savings targets through strategic procurement and supplier negotiations.

• Development and implementation of comprehensive product group strategies in coordination with company goals and market trends.

• Building and maintaining long-term supplier partnerships to ensure quality and innovation.

• Conducting strategic negotiations and managing supplier performance based on defined KPIs.

• Market and supplier analyses to identify potential for improvement and innovation.

• Ensuring compliance with internal procurement guidelines and legal requirements.

• Creation and presentation of detailed performance reports with recommendations for action for management.

• Leading cross-functional teams to promote innovation, technology development, and value creation.

• Support in budget planning and forecasting.

• Coaching buyers in contract negotiations and strategy implementation.

Your Experience and Skills

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a comparable field.

• At least 8-10 years of professional experience in strategic procurement or product group management, ideally in an international industrial or automotive company.

• Proven success in cost optimization and in building long-term supplier partnerships.

• Strong analytical, communicative, and negotiation skills.

• Experience in handling ERP and data analysis tools.

• Strategic thinking, assertiveness, and team orientation.

• Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage.
