Senior Financial Data Analyst

Your tasks

Broster Buchanan are working with a large property business to appoint a Senior Financial Data Analyst to take full ownership of business-wide reporting. This role will design, develop, and maintain automated Power BI data models and dashboards to turn complex metrics into trusted, actionable insights.

• Power BI Ownership: Design, build, and maintain semantic models, reports, and dashboards.
• Strategic Analysis: Provide the "why" behind performance data, offering actionable recommendations.
• Business Partnering: Act as the primary reporting contact for operational leads.
• Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders..

Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, analysing data and reporting on business performance. Key requirements include:

• Advanced Power BI: Expert in semantic modelling
• Advanced Excel: Proficient in Power Query, pivot models, lookup, and array functions.
• Data Architecture: Strong grasp of data modelling and warehousing concepts.
• Automation: Proven track record of automating manual reporting processes end-to-end.
• Communication: Ability to engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
