Location: Paddock Wood Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm (25 hours per week) Opportunity: Temporary position with the potential to become a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week
Brook Street is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly warehouse team based in Paddock Wood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career move, with the potential to progress into a permanent full-time position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Safely handling and moving heavy engineered stone products
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
- Undertaking local and nationwide deliveries when required
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently
About You:
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Comfortable carrying out physical warehouse duties and manual handling
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
- Confident driving a long-wheelbase vehicle
- Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
- Able to work effectively as part of a small team
- Forklift experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate
