Registered Manager Solo Placement Children's Home

Location: Wigan Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum plus bonus structure

What you'll be doing as the Registered Manager:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of a solo placement EBD home, maintaining high standards of care
  • Lead and motivate staff teams to deliver exceptional support to young people
  • Oversee safeguarding and ensure regulatory compliance is consistently met
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Ensure the home meets Ofsted standards and company policies
  • Build strong, positive relationships with young people, families, and external agencies
  • Help shape organisational growth, with the potential to expand to multi-bed settings in the future

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience managing children's residential homes, ideally within EBD or similar needs
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams
  • Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
  • A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for positive outcomes
  • The ability to adapt and contribute to growth and change

Additional information:

  • Relevant Level 3 or Level 5 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
  • Current registration with Ofsted regulatory bodies
  • A valid UK driving licence is desirable
  • Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum, plus Ofsted bonus
