Production Operative

Paddock Wood, Kent ? Rotating Shifts Full Training Provided Long-Term Manufacturing Opportunity

We are looking for motivated and reliable Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing operation in Paddock Wood area.

This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in producing high-quality products. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in quality, and work well as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.

Shift Pattern

Week 1 ? Monday to Friday ? 6:00am - 2:00pm

Week 2 ? Monday to Thursday ? 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Enjoy every Friday off during your late-shift week!

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, you will:

Manufacture high-quality products
Support production processes including mixing, coating, printing and embossing
Load and set print and embossing cylinders
Clean machinery between production runs
Carry out quality inspections on finished products
Pack products ready for dispatch
Minimise waste and maximise production efficiency
Follow health, safety and environmental procedures
Maintain housekeeping standards across the production area
Work as part of a team to meet production targets and customer deadlines

What We're Looking For

Essential

? Good literacy and numeracy skills
? Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
? Basic computer skills
? Good colour vision
? Strong attention to detail and quality standards
? Safety-conscious approach to work
? Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
? Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
? Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

Desirable

? GCSE English and Maths
? Previous manufacturing or production experience
