South Wales £48,000 - £55,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a newly established training and workforce development organisation with ambitious plans to support the care sector across Wales.
We're looking for a commercially minded and driven Head of Academy Operations & Development to lead the launch, development and growth of a brand-new Academy. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of operations, training delivery, systems, stakeholder relationships, quality and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Academy
- Oversee the rollout and development of training programmes
- Manage trainers and external learning partners
- Implement and develop systems and a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Build relationships with employers and industry stakeholders
- Drive commercial growth and business development opportunities
- Maintain high quality standards and learner outcomes
- Develop strategic partnerships across the sector
About You
- Experience in training, learning & development, workforce development or education
- Strong operational leadership skills
- Commercially aware with a growth-focused mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership
- Experience within health and social care would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Registered Manager experience is not required.
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 DOE
