FSA Homebased EO (x1) - Learning & Development Coordinator Location: York - Hybrid
If you enjoy bringing structure to complex admin, making learning easier to access, and keeping information accurate and inclusive-this is a fantastic opportunity to support a valued Government function from home. Our Client is hiring for a reputed client and looking for a careful, people-focused organiser to coordinate learning and development activity across the FSA, promote Civil Service Learning, and ensure the right requests, updates, and spend controls are followed.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage vacancy/admin checks to ensure details are correct (often where templates are used)
- Coordinate learning and development requirements across the FSA and support colleagues to access the learning offer
- Promote Learning & Development activities using available channels, ensuring accessibility needs are met and inclusion is in scope for all
- Act as a first point of contact for learning queries-providing clear information, signposting options, and answering general questions
- Collect learner feedback, maintain accurate data, and produce (or support) reports-handling learning information sensitively
- Manage communication channels for the Capability and Development Team, including intranet pages and the team inbox
- Process training requests in line with FSA spend controls, procurement rules, and learning priorities-seeking guidance when needed
- Update expenditure on the Corporate Training Budget in collaboration with Finance colleagues
- Book and facilitate in-house course arrangements, including venues, delegates, and trainer requests
- Ensure compliance with reasonable adjustment requirements, enabling equal access to learning
What you'll bring:
- Experience working in a learning and development environment
- Confident use of Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and confidentiality
- Clear communication skills and a friendly, supportive approach when helping others access learning
Additional information:
- Experience of actively promoting learning opportunities and using multiple communication channels will be key
