Children's Residential Home Manager

Cardiff £50,000 per annum + Bonus Opportunity Full-Time | Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced Children's Residential Home Manager to lead a children's residential service in Cardiff, supporting young people with complex and additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive provider where you will have the autonomy to lead the home, develop your team and make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home.
• Lead, support and develop the staff team.
• Ensure compliance with CIW regulations and safeguarding requirements.
• Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Manage referrals, admissions and placement planning.
• Complete audits and maintain high standards of care and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, families and professionals.

Requirements

• Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Home Manager within children's residential care.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's residential regulations.
• Experience supporting children with complex and additional needs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
