Lighting Technician (m/f/d)

Broll Systemtechnik KG in Obertraubling near Regensburg is among the leading manufacturers in the industry for special lighting technology, specifically for tunnel lights, among other things. For the lighting technology department, we are looking for a competent Lighting Technician for the earliest possible starting date.

Your Profile:

• Lighting Technician, Electrical Engineering Engineer, Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification,
• sound knowledge in the areas of: lighting technology, electrical engineering, and materials science,
• knowledge of basic lighting technology quantities (illuminance, luminance, luminous flux, and luminous intensity),
• knowledge of the legal and electrical engineering requirements and regulations in lighting and electrical engineering,
• knowledge of the calculation, measurement, and interpretation of the basic quantities of lighting technology,
• knowledge of the physical relationships in the field of electrical engineering, especially active, reactive, and apparent power,
• knowledge of the basic electrical engineering and physical quantities,
• high degree of reliability, commitment, and willingness to perform,
• very good MS Office skills (Excel, Word),
• good English skills.

Your Tasks:

• independent execution of electrical engineering calculations (power calculations, voltage drop calculations),
• creation and maintenance of the necessary documentation (e.g., plant log, test reports) in accordance with relevant laws and standards,
• development of lighting technology concepts from prototype construction to series production readiness, specifically LED technology.
