Software Engineer (m/f/d) Industrial Automation
at the location in Rastede
Tasks:
- Commissioning of special-purpose machines (focus on Siemens PLC and NC control technology)
- Running in and optimizing special-purpose machines
- Ramp-up support for special-purpose machines and lines
- Software adaptation and functional validation
- Carrying out acceptance tests
- Support with documentation
- Troubleshooting
- Safety-related acceptance
- Creation of concepts and software after consultation with the team leader
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, technician training, or comparable, as well as very good basic technical knowledge
- Several years of professional experience in tool and special-purpose machine construction
- Good handling / mastery of software design tools (Step 7, TIA, WinCC)
- Practical IT experience (MS-Office, especially MS-Project, ERP applications SAP)
- Good English skills
- Teamwork skills
- International willingness to travel > 35% is a must
