*Restaurant Supervisor*

*Position Type:* Full-time

*Position Summary*Broadway Café & Grill is seeking an experienced, dependable and guest-focused Restaurant Supervisor. This is a hands-on front-of-house position. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently taking care of guests and managing the dining area during assigned shifts.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating.
• Present menus, explain menu items and provide recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and alcoholic beverages professionally and responsibly.
• Check on guests throughout their meals and respond promptly to requests.
• Manage dine-in, takeout and reservation inquiries.
• Process guest payments accurately using the restaurant?s POS system.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen to ensure accurate and timely orders.
• Set up, clean and reset tables before, during and after service.
• Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming dining area.
• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Answer telephone calls and assist with general customer inquiries.
• Monitor dining-room and beverage supplies and inform management when restocking is required.
• Follow Smart Serve, food-safety, health and workplace-safety requirements.
• Provide guests with a consistently friendly and professional dining experience.
• Train new employees on service standards, menu knowledge, POS procedures and restaurant policies.

*Qualifications*

• *Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field (Mandatory).*
• *Valid Ontario Smart Serve Certification is mandatory.*
• *Minimum 2 years of experience in Canada serving guests in a restaurant.*
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.

*Ideal Candidate*The ideal candidate is friendly, mature, responsible and comfortable managing the guest-service area independently. They should genuinely enjoy interacting with guests and be able to provide attentive service while coordinating smoothly with the kitchen.
