Head of Group Reporting (Interim)

Interim Head of Group Reporting - London | Hybrid Working | £120K + Package

A well-established business going through a period of significant restructuring and change is looking to appoint an experienced senior finance professional on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a key role within the group finance function, with responsibility for delivering accurate consolidated reporting, supporting the year-end audit process and providing technical accounting expertise across a multi-entity organisation.

You will lead a team on various change projects, and have responsibility for embedding new systems and processes as part of your role.

The position would suit a technically strong qualified accountant who enjoys taking ownership of group reporting and working across a complex corporate structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the group consolidation process and preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end group reporting requirements
• Lead key elements of the external audit process, ensuring information and supporting schedules are accurate and delivered on time
• Oversee intercompany balances, reconciliations and associated loan arrangements
• Provide technical accounting guidance across the business0, UK GAAP and IFRS
• Review and improve financial reporting processes, controls and consolidation procedures
• Work closely with senior finance stakeholders across the group
• Support ad hoc technical accounting, reporting and finance projects as required

About You:

• ACA/CA qualified
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background
• Significant experience of group consolidations within a multi-entity business
• Comfortable leading year-end audit requirements and working with external auditors
• Good understanding of intercompany accounting and group structures
• Previous experience within a large, complex organisation advantageous
