Night Receptionist (M/F)

3-star hotel with 58 rooms, located in the heart of Mâcon city center, is looking for a night receptionist - CDI - 35h/week - Weekly rest 1 weekend out of 2 (2-week rotation)

Are you versatile and do you enjoy taking initiative? Do you have an excellent sense of contact and hospitality, while respecting instructions and knowing how to work in a team? We are looking for a night receptionist to join our team and contribute to the satisfaction of our clients.

Your main missions:

• Client reception and management: Ensure a warm welcome, provide information to clients regarding hotel services and stay conditions, manage billing and payments.
• Reservations: Enter reservations and respond effectively to booking requests.
• Knowledge of the environment: Master the local offerings (city activities, geographical location, competition).
• Administrative management: Control daily billing, payments, and activity reports. Close the day and verify reports.
• Performance monitoring: Keep dashboards up to date (turnover, occupancy rate, average price per room, activity forecasts).
• Breakfast: Prepare the breakfast buffet for the first clients in the morning.
• Deliveries: Receive and check deliveries.
• Security: Guarantee the calm and security of clients and the establishment (fire safety, control rounds).
• Hygiene: Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety rules.

• Versatility: Ability to manage several missions simultaneously.
• Sense of contact and client reception: Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Team spirit: Ability to collaborate effectively.
• Respect for instructions
• Language skills: Proficiency in English is essential, another language would be a plus.
• Knowledge of hotel software (an asset).

Schedule organization: The schedule rotates over two weeks:

• Week 1: Work from Tuesday to Friday, with rest on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Week 2: Work on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday, with rest from Tuesday to Friday.
