Asset Information Planner Bristol | Hybrid Working Full time | £35,000 - £37,860 per annum We're recruiting a full-time Asset Information Planner to join our team in Bristol Water. As an Asset Information Planner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and accessibility of our asset information. About the role: Working across Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and SAP systems, you'll help support operational teams by maintaining high-quality data, producing flushing programmes and creating asset plans that contribute to the protection and management of our underground infrastructure. What you'll be doing: Managing and maintaining asset-related data within GIS and SAP systems, ensuring information remains accurate, complete and up to date.

Analysing and validating asset information received from internal and external stakeholders, challenging discrepancies and resolving data quality issues.

Creating flushing programmes within our GIS platform, providing clear instructions to field teams carrying out mains flushing activities.

Responding to enquiries regarding water mains and other assets, ensuring accurate information is provided within required timescales.

Supporting data quality improvement initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and implementing corrective actions.

Maintaining consistency of asset information across multiple corporate systems and databases.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of asset information processes, procedures and standards.

Building strong working relationships with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders to support the accurate capture and maintenance of asset data.

What we're looking for: Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experience working with data, including maintaining, updating and managing databases within a busy administrative or data management environment.

Ability to interpret and work with data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency across systems and databases.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning and using new software systems.

Excellent attention to detail, with experience validating information, identifying discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to question or challenge incomplete or conflicting information when required.

Desirable: Experience working within a GIS, mapping, CAD or similar spatial data environment, undertaking data quality assessments, or supporting asset management activities.
