Responsibilities and assignments

• Experience the organizational identity of Grupo Brisanet;
• Prepare reports, forms, or spreadsheets, as requested;
• Propose improvements for the area's routines and processes;
• Feed the area's indicators;
• Actively participate in the organization's meetings and commitments, when requested;
• Provide support to employees on matters related to the area;
• Use individual and collective safety equipment, when necessary;
• Develop, deploy, and maintain web sites, systems, and applications, aiming for the agility, security, and effectiveness of processes, adapting them to the needs of areas and clients;
• Develop, evolve, and maintain backend applications and services, ensuring quality, scalability, security, and maintainability;
• Develop and optimize queries, analyzing execution plans and identifying performance bottlenecks;
• Define and implement business rules and application logic;
• Develop, integrate, and maintain REST APIs and/or other integration patterns;
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and services, monitoring availability, latency, consumption, and error handling;
• Develop and maintain asynchronous processes and background tasks, using queues, workers, and processing mechanisms suitable for the application's needs;
• Develop and maintain microservices and independent services when applicable to the solution architecture;
• Participate in the definition of the technical architecture of new features and systems, proposing solutions suitable for business needs;
• Participate in the evolution and migration of applications and services to cloud environments;
• Monitor and optimize the performance of applications, APIs, servers, and databases;
• Implement mechanisms for logs, metrics, monitoring, and traceability to facilitate problem identification and resolution;
• Identify, investigate, and correct bugs and production issues through debugging processes and log analysis;
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and, when applicable, automated API tests;
• Create scripts and tools for the automation of operational and development tasks;
• Implement security best practices in development, including data validation, authentication, authorization, protection of sensitive information, and vulnerability prevention;
• Use version control and collaborative development best practices;
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to code quality and standardization;
• Participate in CI/CD processes and automation of build, tests, and deploy;
• Document APIs, code, technical decisions, integrations, and relevant processes;
• Act together with frontend, product, infrastructure/DevOps professionals, and other areas involved in the development of solutions;
• Analyze technical problems, propose solutions, and act autonomously in the implementation and evolution of features.

Requirements and qualifications

• Professional experience with backend development using Go (Golang);
• Knowledge of concurrency and parallelism in Go, including goroutines, channels, context, and management of concurrent processes;
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and/or software design principles, including Clean Code, SOLID, and development best practices;
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and software architecture patterns;
• Experience in the development and integration of REST APIs and knowledge of GraphQL;
• Knowledge of the HTTP protocol, including methods, status codes, headers, authentication, cookies, and security concepts;
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling, creation and optimization of queries, indexes, and performance analysis;
• Knowledge of non-relational databases and understanding of when to use them;
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and manipulation of files, processes, services, and data via terminal;
• Knowledge of computer networks, DNS, TCP/IP, ports, proxies, and concepts related to communication between services;
• Experience with Git and version control and collaborative development practices, such as Git Flow or equivalent strategies;
• Experience with Docker and containerization concepts;
• Knowledge of microservices, communication between services, and asynchronous processing;
• Experience with the development of unit and integration tests;
• Knowledge of lint tools, dependency management, and automation of development processes;
• Knowledge of code performance concepts, identification of bottlenecks, and application optimization;
• Knowledge of application security, including authentication, authorization, data validation, protection of sensitive information, and main web application vulnerabilities;
• Knowledge of LGPD principles and best practices for data handling and protection;
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and services, including computing, storage, networks, databases, and managed services concepts;
• Knowledge of technical documentation, including documentation of APIs, code, and architectural decisions;
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum and/or Kanban;
• Technical English sufficient for reading and understanding documentation, libraries, frameworks, and tools.

Will be considered a differentiator:

• Professional experience with Go in production environments and high-concurrency applications;
• Experience with messaging and queue systems, such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, or similar;
• Experience with Redis or other cache solutions;
• Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time communication;
• Experience with CI/CD and automation pipelines;
• Knowledge of observability tools, such as metrics, distributed logs, tracing, and application monitoring;
• Experience with cloud providers, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure;
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts;
• Experience with distributed architecture and high availability systems;
• Courses or certifications related to Go, Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, software architecture, or security.
