In this role, you will have a dynamic and high-visibility position. Your main missions will be to conduct and perform special assignments requested directly by the Audit Committee or Board of Directors, in addition to identifying improvements and mitigating risks during fieldwork. You will also be the focal point for monitoring action plans with the departments (follow-up), ensuring the effectiveness of our continuous improvements.

Responsibilities and assignments
The Internal Auditor II will be responsible for executing the annual audit plan with a focus on operational efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Execution of Audits: Plan and conduct audit work in various areas of the company (finance, operations, IT, HR, etc.), applying established work programs.
- Process and Risk Mapping: Analyze the effectiveness of existing internal controls, identifying weaknesses, security gaps, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Audit Testing: Develop and apply compliance tests and substantive tests, collecting robust evidence to support findings.
- Report Preparation: Draft preliminary audit reports, pointing out facts, risks, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and technical manner.
- Follow-up of Action Plans: Monitor the implementation of recommendations suggested by previous audits, following up with area managers regarding agreed deadlines.
- Investigation Support: Assist in special audits or investigations of fraud and reports forwarded by compliance channels, when necessary.
Requirements and qualifications
- Academic Background: Completed degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics, Production Engineering, or related fields.
- Specialization: Completed postgraduate studies in Audit, Controllership, Governance, Compliance, Risks, Internal Controls, or related areas.
- Solid Experience: Solid experience in the areas of Internal Audit, External Audit (experience in Big Four is welcome), or Risks and Internal Controls.
- Technical Knowledge: Mastery of market frameworks and methodologies, such as: COSO, COBIT, SOX, PCAOB, and ISO 31000.
- Technology and Tools: Knowledge of the ERP SAP ecosystem;
- Familiarity with Data Analytics tools (data extraction and cross-referencing);
- Advanced mastery of Excel and tools from the Google ecosystem (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
It will be considered a great differentiator if you have (Desirable):
- Practical experience with GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) systems applied to Internal Audit.
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification or related courses in internal auditor training and risk management.
- Language: Intermediate English.
