pharmacy assistant

Looking for an energetic and committed assistant who is willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to our patients.

*Specific responsibilities:*

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
• Data entry of patient care information into Kroll
• Third Party adjudication
• Accurate filling prescription medications and blister packaging
• Maintenance of pharmacy and OTC stock (expiry, adequate inventory etc.)
• General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to pharmacist where required and necessary
• Handling customer prescription pick up
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
• Regular cleaning of pharmacy including garbage disposal, mopping, wiping counters, etc.

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Pharmacy: 2 years (preferred)
