As a Payroll & Benefits Officer, you are an important link within the HR team. You ensure that employees can rely on correct payroll processing and smooth follow-up of their extra-legal benefits. At the same time, you actively contribute ideas for improvements to processes and systems.

A varied job in which you combine administrative accuracy with contact with employees and international colleagues.

Practically, as a Payroll & Benefits Officer, you will work on:

• You are responsible for the payroll processing of the Belgian employees and will also support other European countries in the long term.
• You manage various employee benefits, such as company cars, insurance, pension plans, and mobility solutions.
• You participate in the optimization of payroll and HR processes and think proactively about improvements.
• You ensure the correct registration and follow-up of personnel data.
• You are the point of contact for employees and managers with questions regarding payroll and benefits.

In addition, you work closely with payroll partners, insurers, and internal stakeholders. You also support reporting on, among other things, absenteeism, staff turnover, and other HR data.

For this job as a Payroll & Benefits Officer, we are looking for someone who derives energy from numbers, processes, and collaboration. You work accurately, communicate fluently, and feel at home in an international environment. You possess:

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Experience within payroll, HR administration or similar work experience.
• A very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch, French, or other European languages is a great plus.
• A proficient knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Workday and/or SD Worx is an extra asset.
• A proactive, customer-oriented, and communicative personality.

Furthermore, you have an analytical mindset, enjoy working with data, and have an eye for detail. Because of this, you always manage to maintain an overview and handle confidential information correctly.
