Your Tasks

• Strategic and operational management of purchasing under strict compliance with legal frameworks (especially MDR), relevant standards (ISO 13485), as well as the requirements of the quality management system
• Responsibility for the negotiation of prices, conditions, and contracts, as well as the strategic development and continuous advancement of national and international supplier relationships
• Systematic analysis as well as continuous optimization of purchasing processes, procurement costs, supplier performance, and purchasing conditions
• Execution of sound market and price analyses, identification of new procurement sources, as well as the precise maintenance of relevant master data within the ERP system
• Supplier management including the execution of supplier evaluations and audits
• Control and support of warehouse, logistics, and export processes as well as taking over team leadership in the logistics area
• Professional support of customers in Customer Service as well as the independent handling of national and international sales support, including the support of field service

Your Profile

• A successfully completed commercial vocational training with corresponding further training as a Fachwirt im Einkauf or a completed degree with an economic or technical focus
• Several years of relevant professional experience (at least 3–5 years) in the field of purchasing, preferably within a regulated environment (e.g., medical technology)
• Confident handling of MS-Office applications as well as sound knowledge in working with ERP systems
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• Strong analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, as well as high communication competence
• Teamwork skills as well as a high degree of initiative and sense of responsibility
