Youth Worker

We’re looking for folks who are passionate about working with youth! 

• Part-time; a few days a week.
• Man a centre, engage students, co-conduct activities.
• Co-design activities with coaches.
• Escalate complex situations to supervisors.

Goal To support at-risk youth. Build positive relationships with them, facilitate their decision-making, and not tell them or advise them what to do. Guide their behavioural and socio-emotional development as they figure out their pathways, strengths and interests. Work closely with supervisors and coaches. Requirements A gung ho personality, super-enthu, friendly with students.

Diploma or degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Education, Sociology or a related field, from a local or recognised institution.

Prior experience in youth work preferred.

Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

Meticulous in tracking and following up.
