Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions in real-world products . This role requires someone who can independently move from research and experimentation to implementation, evaluation and production deployment. Daily tasks

• Research, design and implement AI/ML solutions addressing complex product and data challenges
• Build and integrate production-ready AI-powered features
• Explore different technical approaches, run experiments and evaluate results to identify the most effective solutions
• Develop Python-based AI/ML applications, workflows and data processing solutions
• Build prototypes and turn successful experiments into scalable, reliable production systems
• Work with LLMs, machine learning models and AI APIs as part of real product features
• Define evaluation methods and metrics to measure quality, accuracy, latency, cost and business impact
• Investigate model behaviour, identify performance issues and improve AI solutions based on real-world results
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems
• Take ownership of AI initiatives from initial research through implementation, deployment and continuous improvement

Requirements

At least 6 years of commercial experience in AI / Machine Learning Strong hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions for real-world products and production environments Strong practical knowledge of Python Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI and modern machine learning approaches Experience building, testing, deploying and maintaining AI solutions in production Experience taking solutions from research / PoC / prototype to production Ability to independently research different approaches, implement them and validate results experimentally Strong understanding of AI/ML evaluation , including quality, accuracy, reliability, latency and cost Experience debugging and improving AI systems based on production behaviour and user feedback Strong engineering mindset — the ability to build reliable and maintainable solutions, not only develop models or conduct research

Highly Valued Experience with RAG, AI agents, embeddings or semantic search Experience with AI evaluation frameworks or LLM observability tools Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms Experience integrating AI models with backend systems and APIs Experience with Node.js / JavaScript Previous experience in travel technology, hospitality, marketplaces or booking platforms
