Job Mission:

Manage and ensure the safety of the company's operational processes in onshore facilities, promoting regulatory compliance, operational integrity, and risk mitigation through leadership in risk analyses, audits, and technical support.

Responsibilities and duties

• Lead the company's process safety strategy, ensuring the application of industry best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements and other relevant standards.
• Ensure that all onshore facilities comply with process safety requirements, conducting periodic reviews of critical systems and operational procedures.
• Supervise internal and external process safety audits, ensuring that recommendations are implemented efficiently.
• Coordinate management of change processes in industrial facilities, supervising the operational and safety impacts of new projects and modifications to existing assets.
• Act as the main point of contact in audits related to process safety, with regulatory bodies such as ANP, SSO, insurers, and the Fire Department, among others.
• Propose and implement continuous improvements based on indicator analysis and the monitoring of incident and near-miss trends.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the integrity and reliability of processes and operational systems, ensuring that safety goals are met and exceeded.
• Manage the interface between process safety and environmental licensing activities, ensuring that all company projects and operations comply with environmental and safety requirements.
• Offer continuous technical support to operational areas, ensuring the integration of critical systems and equipment into operations and safety procedures.
• Develop robust process safety policies and procedures, aligned with corporate and regulatory guidelines, ensuring consistency in operations and risk mitigation.

Requirements and qualifications

Experience in process safety in the oil and gas industry; Extensive knowledge of regulation, especially ANP; Experience with people management; Advanced/Fluent English.
