We are looking for an FP&A Manager, whose mission will be to lead Brasol's integrated financial planning cycle, translating business strategy into clear financial and operational goals, and ensuring cash, capital, and performance discipline to support the decisions of the Board of Directors, the Board, and investors.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Result Forecast: year-end close + following 2 quarters; monthly updates with variance analysis vs. budget, previous forecast, and actual results; result discussions with various stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Capital planning: monthly update of medium and long-term cash flow projections, with variance analysis, backtesting, and forecast accuracy measurements.
  • Company Model: single corporate reference model; quarterly synchronization with actuals and active scenarios.
  • Business Plan & Annual Budget: owner of the official annual budget (CapEx, OpEx, SG&A, Financing) and future planning (e.g., 5 years); construction using zero-based approaches (ZBB); performance monitoring of all business units against the budget; annual reconciliation vs. actuals.
  • Scenario control: central registry and single source of truth for Pipeline and Capital Markets assumptions; consistent implementation in the Company Model, forecast, and capital planning. Authority to block unvalidated scenarios in board materials.
  • Data management: owner of the actual performance flow (ERP) → financial model, designed to run independently of the monthly closing calendar.
  • Board Report: responsible for production, consolidation of information, and the quality of the material to be presented to shareholders; monthly frequency.
  • Interface with shareholders: direct discussion of forecasts and performance as necessary.
  • KPIs and dashboards: definition and maintenance of the financial KPI/OKR tree (e.g., revenue, margin, EBITDA, ROIC, cash conversion), with executive dashboards in Power BI/Tableau and presentation to the Board of Directors and stakeholders, including investors.
  • Divestment Committee: analytical support in modeling accounting, tax, and financial impact (including rates of return) and presentation materials per transaction for various stakeholders, including shareholders.
  • Tax planning and recovery of tax assets: forecast and plan for the use of tax assets; support for annual audit; input for sales structuring. Boundary rule: Accounting records; FP&A plans.
  • Tax Reform: quantification and integration of the transition into the model, forecasts, and assumptions (legal interpretation remains with tax advisors).

Requirements and qualifications

We expect you to have:

  • Completed higher education in Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Solid experience in FP&A, Financial Planning, New Business/M&A, or Controllership, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Advanced mastery of financial modeling and Excel.
  • Ability to synthesize complex themes into executive outputs.
  • High capacity for adaptation and resource management (internal and external, including human resources).
  • Consolidated experience in FP&A, financial planning, new business/M&A, or controllership in medium/large companies, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, real estate, or utilities sectors.
  • Advanced/fluent English.

It will be a differentiator if you have:

  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Controllership, or related areas.
  • Previous experience in the energy, distributed generation, real estate, infrastructure, or regulated assets sectors.
  • Experience with M&A processes, fundraising, or relationship with investors/investment funds.
  • Certifications in corporate finance (e.g., CFA, CFP).
