Product Owner ERP

Your function Brand Masters is fully committed to digitalization to design smarter processes, work more efficiently, and serve customers even better. An important step in this was the implementation of Microsoft Business Central as a new ERP platform. In the coming years, the focus will be on further optimizing this environment and strengthening the connection to business processes. Therefore, we are looking for a Product Owner ERP who provides direction to the further development of Business Central and works together with users, process owners, and external partners to successfully realize improvements and ensure they land within the organization.

As Product Owner ERP, you are responsible for the further development and optimization of the ERP landscape. You translate needs from the business into concrete improvement initiatives and maintain the balance between standardization, ease of use, and added value. In this role, you act as a connecting link between departments, key-users, and the implementation partner, whereby you fathom processes, ask the right questions, and ensure a structured approach to improvements that contribute to a future-proof organization.

What will you do? Manage, prioritize, and maintain the ERP backlog, including preparing and monitoring sprint planning and priorities;

Inventory improvement wishes from the organization and translate these into clear requirements; together with our implementation partner, you will develop suitable solutions, where the standard functionality of Microsoft Business Central is the starting point;

Prepare and facilitate workshops with key-users and process owners to map out needs, processes, and improvement opportunities;

Coordinate testing and acceptance of delivered functionalities;

Support users in the adoption of new processes and functionalities, including drafting work instructions and organizing training where necessary;

Actively maintain the network of key-users within the organization and act as the first point of contact for ERP-related improvements;

Report on progress, risks, and priorities to management and the steering group.

Your profile We are looking for an experienced Product Owner ERP with the following characteristics; A completed HBO or WO education, for example in Bedrijfskunde, Bedrijfseconomie or Business IT & Management;

At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Business Central, supplemented with knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain Management, and operational processes such as purchasing, sales, warehousing, logistics, and invoicing;

Demonstrable experience with ERP implementations and knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Dynamics AX, and Dynamics 365;

Extensive experience with agile working and steering on business value;

You work independently and proactively, take ownership, and know how to get people moving to achieve collective goals;

You are a strong stakeholder manager and communicator, who knows how to connect diverse interests, handles pressure well, and can explain complex subject matter clearly in both Dutch and English.

Your team When you start as Product Owner ERP, you will join the IT team of Brand Masters. Together with key-users, process owners, and our implementation partner, you will work on the further development of our Microsoft Business Central platform. You will receive a lot of freedom and responsibility to actually realize improvements and ensure they land within the organization.
