Senior General Accountant - Fluent English M/F

RESPONSIBILITIES: Paris region International environment

Within a human-sized team and under the responsibility of the Administrative and Financial Direction, you will take charge of general accounting and intervene across a varied scope, with a real international dimension.

Your missions

General accounting and closings

• Ensure the maintenance and reliability of general accounting: recording and controlling entries, bank reconciliations, provisions, and fixed assets.
• Ensure accounting closings and the preparation of annual accounts.
• Contribute to the production of consolidated accounts according to IFRS standards.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and files necessary for audits.
• Ensure compliance with French and international accounting and tax standards.
• Participate in the preparation of French and American tax returns.

Subsidiary accounting and flow monitoring

• Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable operations: invoicing, matching, collections, and payment monitoring.
• Support and monitor the external service provider in charge of accounts payable and expense reports.
• Ensure the monitoring of any disputes and collection operations.
• Contribute to the reliability of financial flows and the monitoring of treasury operations.

Process improvement and financial analysis

• Participate in the optimization of accounting procedures and practices.
• Contribute to the project of implementing electronic invoicing.
• Collaborate with management control on budgetary and financial analyses.
• Be proactive in improving management tools and processes.

Position to be filled quickly, Executive status 218 days - CDI Salary: 60/70 k€ + numerous benefits (mutual insurance, contingency, Navigo 100% covered by the employer, RIE, Bonus...)

REQUIRED PROFILE: The profile we are looking for

With higher education in accounting or finance, you have at least 10 years of experience in general accounting, allowing you to master routine operations as well as closing and audit work. You produce balance sheets and must already have this experience.

Experience gained in an international environment, ideally within an association or a non-profit organization, will be a real asset.

You have a good knowledge of accounting standards and tax obligations. Practice of IFRS standards and exposure to international accounting issues will be particularly appreciated.

Your English is fluent, both written and spoken, allowing you to communicate with ease in a multicultural professional environment.

On the IT side, you master office tools (MS Office and Google Workspace) and have solid practice with accounting software, notably Sage 100, and ideally Yooz and Keops.

Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for a rigorous, reliable, and organized personality, capable of working autonomously while maintaining a true team spirit.

Your sense of analysis, versatility, and diplomacy allow you to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, both in France and internationally.
