As a strategic partner of Lufthansa Technik AG, we are looking for the following position within the framework of temporary employment with the option of permanent employment:
Design Engineer (m/w/d)
Development opportunities If suitable, you have the chance to be taken on permanently in a short time by a renowned company.
What to expect
- Modification and static design of cabin and interior fittings for Special Mission Aircrafts
- Calculation and verification for interior components and their attachment to aircraft structures
- Performance of FEM analyses on metallic and sandwich components
- Creation of technical proofs according to EASA Part 21J
- 3D-CAD construction with SolidWorks as well as maintenance of development data in the PLM system
- Development of test setups and cooperation with On-Site-Support and specialist work
What you bring with you
- Completed studies in the field of Aerospace, Aircraft Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable
- Several years of experience in development, specification, or modification of aircraft structures
- Knowledge in Technical Mechanics and structural calculation
- Experience with SolidWorks and PLM systems such as PTC Windchill
- Knowledge in FEM analyses, ideally with ANSYS
- Initial experience with CFD or vibration analyses is an advantage
- Good English skills as well as strong team and communication skills
