Position Details:

• Role: Manual Machinist
• Location: 4205 ? 78 Avenue, Edmonton, T6B 2N3
• Shift: Monday?Friday, 8:00 AM ? 4:00 PM
• Wage: $30?$40/hr (negotiable based on experience)
• Type: Full-time, On-site
• Overtime: Available

What You?ll Do

• Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining sketches
• Machine parts to tight tolerances and company specifications
• Use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify accuracy
• Perform facing, turning, boring, threading, drilling, tapping, and other manual machining operations
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow shop safety procedures
• Identify non-conforming parts and report issues to Quality Assurance
• Assist with general shop tasks as needed (sawing, deburring, cleaning, etc.)
• Operate overhead crane and handle materials safely

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years manual machining experience within Oil & Gas machining.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong ability to read and understand blueprints
• Solid understanding of speeds, feeds, and cutting tools
• Able to hold tight tolerances consistently
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
• Reliable transportation and valid driver?s license
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
