Quality Engineer

• System Maintenance & Automotive Core Tools: Implement and maintain all automotive quality system requirements, including APQP, PPAP, FMEAs, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Automotive Standards Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to IATF 16949 standards and Customer-Specific Requirements (CSRs).
• ISO 17025 Laboratory Compliance: Coordinate and maintain the ISO 17025 quality system within internal testing/calibration laboratories. Monitor equipment calibration cycles, measurement uncertainty budgets, method validations, and proficiency testing schemes.
• Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in 8D root cause analysis for product failures and EHS incidents. Drive corresponding corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Integrated Reporting & KPI Dashboards: Prepare, analyze, and present integrated IMS reports and dashboards. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across quality, laboratory performance, and EHS metrics.
• Sampling Plans & Inspection Controls: Construct, evaluate, and revise sampling plans and sample sizes for receiving inspection, in-process testing, and final product release.
• Customer & 3rd Party Audits: Serve as a primary technical contact and host for external audits, including Customer Audits and 3rd party certification audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 17025).
• Internal Audits & Layered Process Audits: Coordinate, schedule, and perform internal system, process, and product audits across all integrated standards.
• Fast Response Meetings: Prepare, lead, and document "Fast Response" and daily/weekly quality meetings, ensuring action plans are tracked to closure.
• Drawing & Specification Analysis: Collaborate with the Product Development team to extract Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) dimensions and critical specifications from drawings and engineering standards.
• Unified IMS Risk Management: Integrate quality, laboratory, safety, and environmental risks into a unified company-wide risk assessment framework (FMEA, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, and Environmental Aspects).

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, or a related technical discipline).

Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for IATF 16949.

Internal Auditor certificates for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 17025 is a plus .

3–5 years of experience in automotive quality management.

Understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 (EMS), ISO 45001 (OHSMS), ISO 17025 requirements and associated core tools.
