Job Summary

Lead mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment and automation lines while managing facilities and a team of technicians to drive cost-saving improvements and ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment and automation lines to ensure optimal operation
• Manage building and facility maintenance to support production needs and safety standards
• Implement modifications and improvements focused on cost-saving and operational efficiency
• Lead and coordinate a team of technicians in maintaining production equipment and tooling
• Schedule and oversee contractor work to meet specifications and deadlines
• Set up tooling on vertical punch presses to support production requirements
• Maintain and account for workshop tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the maintenance area
• Conduct activities related to cost effectiveness, waste reduction, lean processes, and site risk assessments as assigned by management

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in a production environment performing equipment maintenance and team leadership
• Ability to work independently with initiative
• Willingness to support overtime and weekend work
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively as a team player
