Murex Solution Architect

10+ years in capital markets technology, with 6+ years designing and implementing Murex MX.3. Proven experience as architect or lead on at least one full greenfield or major new-platform Murex implementation from design through go-live. Deep functional knowledge in one or more asset classes (FX, rates, credit, equities, commodities, treasury/ALM) and the trade lifecycle. Strong understanding of Murex modules and components such as the Trade Entry, Workflow/Process Engine, Datamart, Market Risk, Credit Risk/CVA, and Collateral Management modules. Hands-on experience with Murex integration (APIs, MXML, MQ) and EOD/batch architecture. Solid grasp of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase), Linux/Unix, and application/infrastructure performance tuning. Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Murex cloud/containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Murex Cloud/SaaS) and DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Ansible).
• Murex certifications.
• Experience with regulatory programmes (FRTB, SIMM, EMIR Refit, etc.).
• Background in data migration from legacy platforms (Summit, Calypso, Kondor+, in-house systems).
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other scripting for automation and reconciliation.
• Experience in Agile/hybrid delivery at scale.
