Your tasks with us:

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the software development team as well as promotion and further development of employees
• Responsibility for the planning, management, and successful implementation of software projects from requirements engineering to commissioning
• Management of resources, project priorities, and external service providers to ensure efficient project processes
• Advising internal and external clients regarding technical solution approaches and creation of functional specifications as well as technical specifications.
• Coordination of individual software solutions taking into account complex dependencies and integration into the existing system landscape
• Ensuring software quality through tests, commissioning, error analysis, and continuous optimization of existing applications
• Advising and supporting specialist departments as well as conducting user training and knowledge transfer

What you bring with you:

• Completed training in the IT environment with corresponding further education or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in software development as well as experience in managing projects
• Initial leadership experience or a strong ability for functional guidance and development of employees
• Experience with common programming languages (e.g., C#, Angular, Python)
• Good knowledge of software architecture, interface integration, and modern development processes
• High technical understanding as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Initiative, reliability, and a structured way of working
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness for occasional business trips
