Your tasks with us:

• Independent management of assigned product groups and suppliers
• Coordination with planning, production, logistics, and other specialist departments
• Execution of the MRP run and material planning
• Ensuring material availability
• Collaboration in inventory management
• Maintenance and monitoring of quantity contracts
• Obtaining quotations as well as conducting price and condition inquiries
• Inquiries to suppliers regarding delivery times, availability, and conditions
• Preparation, checking, and triggering of orders within the specified framework
• Ordering and calling off material domestically and abroad
• Monitoring delivery dates and coordination with suppliers in case of schedule deviations
• Processing supplier complaints and supplier reminders
• Maintenance and updating of master and movement data in the ERP system

What you bring to the role:

• Completed commercial or technical training, e.g., as an Industriekaufmann (m/f/d), Kaufmann für Groß- und Außenhandelsmanagement (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in material planning, procurement, or purchasing
• Experience in the procurement of technical components (mechanical, electrotechnical, or electronic components) is an advantage
• Knowledge of quality management is desirable
• Confident handling of ERP systems as well as common MS-Office applications
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Organizational skills as well as a good understanding of processes and workflows in materials management
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Initiative, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
