Mechanical Engineer

You likely have an engineering degree in mechanics or electronics.

You can demonstrate experience in CAD drawing and electronics design within industrial environments. We would prefer if you have worked with CAD 3D Unigraphics.

You are highly experienced in working with specifications, design, and testing of electronic hardware, components, and systems. You should have good knowledge of industry standards such as IEC (e.g. EN60335). As a person, you can demonstrate analytical ability and problem-solving skills. You take responsibility for your own work and apply your own initiative to find solutions. The role requires good communication skills as well as English in speech and writing. Bosch Thermoteknik AB develops, manufactures, and sells a complete range of heat pumps. Our main focus lies in the development of energy-efficient products with a particular focus on renewable energy. We have approximately 370 employees in Tranås and sales of just over 1 billion/year. Our most well-known brands are IVT and Bosch. We are now looking for a mechanical engineer to further strengthen the team.

In the role of mechanical engineer, you produce 3D modules to ensure product quality and durability, as well as 2D engineering drawings for electronic components. You work with specifying materials and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in the production process. In the role of mechanical engineer, you participate in the review of product design and FMEA.

You contribute mechanical solutions in accordance with function, cost, quality, and user requirements. You work with the design of cable layouts for heat pumps according to requirements regarding safety, function, and cost. You are responsible for ensuring that electronic components and design comply with applicable regulations regarding electrical safety, EMC, and LVD. You work according to internal working methods and processes and contribute to the development of guidelines by following technical developments.
