About the Role

We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to take a leading role in our development projects from the first idea to the finished product.
As our new development engineer, you will become a key person for the electrical group, ensuring that we deliver, keep projects on schedule, and create an environment where collaboration and innovation flourish. Your responsibilities will be:
Act as a technical expert for the electrical team in project meetings and present status and progress. Create and own the structure for the project's technical documentation. Lead technical discussions regarding the selection of electrical components and support other teams in integration. Drive and lead the electrical team's weekly meetings to ensure alignment. Develop and manage the overall schedule and key milestones in the projects. Handle project requirements, issues, and sprints in Jira. Participate in analyses such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) for the electrical area. Coordinate and plan the production of prototypes and test specimens. Be responsible for ordering A- and B-samples for components and wiring harnesses. Ensure that the electrical-technical parts in the development reports are complete and correct.
Requirements
What characterizes you To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have: Documented experience in leading technical projects, including team coordination and communication with various stakeholders. Good knowledge of project management tools (especially Jira), methodologies (FMEA, DFMA), and processes for component selection. Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written, as we work in an international environment. An ability to lead and inspire a team as well as manage expectations from different parts of the organization. A strategic and proactive approach, with a talent for organizing and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
Meritorious knowledge It is a big plus if you also have: Knowledge in wiring harness development. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience with European standards and other issues related to product certification. Experience with SAP.
