Product Manager
At Booking Experts, the end user is always central. As a Product Manager within our Product & Engineering team, you will work on the further development of our system for the recreation industry. You are the bridge between technology and the end user and take responsibility for the entire development process: from the initial discovery to the final delivery. You will work in a flat, informal organization, collaborating closely with experienced experts in the fields of Engineering, Product Design, and Management to build a platform that truly helps the sector move forward.
What you will do In this role, you will guide various projects and always start at the core: product research. Through interviews, surveys, and user testing, you will flawlessly identify the needs and pain points of our users. Once you have clarified the requirement, you will translate these insights into concrete solutions via journey maps, app maps, and wireframes. Your goal is to ensure that our product perfectly aligns with the wishes of the customer and that the user experience is always optimal, while also paying attention to clear UX-writing.
Together with your colleagues from the team, you will determine the relevance and priority of potential new projects. You oversee complex problems with a helicopter view and ensure that development proceeds smoothly. You continuously brainstorm with our software engineers to devise the best possible technical solutions and guide their implementation. Because you must manage the expectations of both customers and your own team, you always ensure crystal-clear communication regarding progress. You will receive a lot of freedom to take on projects, and we are always open to your ideas regarding new ways of working or tooling.

Who you are You are an analytical and pragmatic professional who can effortlessly put yourself in the shoes of the end user. You possess excellent listening skills to uncover the real question behind the question, and you understand how to find the balance between technical solutions and human interests.
- You have at least HBO working and thinking level;
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role as Product Manager;
- You have experience with project research and creating journey maps, app maps, and wireframes;
- You have excellent command of the English language;
- Knowledge of design tools such as Figma or Balsamiq is a major plus;
- You are a true team player, work goal-oriented, and can oversee and solve complex problems with a helicopter view.
